An initiative to overcome the causes of the collapse

Make Venezuela Great Again is a civic, political and intellectual project that proposes a refoundation of Venezuela. Its central interpretation maintains that Chavismo aggravated and transformed a crisis whose causes include rentism, statism, partisanship, and loss of confidence in the previous system.

MVGA's criticism is explicit. Examines the role of AD and COPEI, the economic decisions of the Fourth Republic, the Chavista concentration of power and the results of the traditional opposition. It does not grant editorial immunity to a leadership for presenting itself as an alternative. An exit has to explain what will change in the rules, justice and the relationship between the State and the citizen.

An identity and a library

MVGA understands Venezuelanness as historical continuity and present capacity. It recovers ideas, culture, experiences of state construction and questions that the party narrative tends to simplify. The reference figures belong to their time; The library studies their works and consequences without attributing adherence to this contemporary project.

Its format is a select library of essays, profiles and analyses. MVGA preserves texts that allow you to understand the processes and return to them. Its editorial selection favors ideas, historical context and arguments that maintain value over time.

Autonomy as a criterion

MVGA defends freedom, property, initiative, work and merit. It proposes a State capable of protecting, administering justice and maintaining public goods, subject to limits and supervision. Oil revenue must create capabilities and savings; social policy must expand autonomy; Public service must require preparation and responsibility.

Criticism of partisanship does not need to multiply acronyms or replace one leadership with another. It needs a citizenry with the means to participate, control and compete. Political organizations must serve that public life and accept rules that also apply to their own leaders.

A proposal for the future

The Sixth Republic names a future refoundation, open to discussion. MVGA proposes mechanisms for controlling power, economic openness, training and institutional recovery. The name does not create a government or a new Constitution: it expresses the decision to examine the system and propose how to change it.

MVGA celebrates the US intervention of January 2026 as a necessary transition and expresses political affinity with Trump and Rubio. This position does not represent an official link or a Venezuelan position. Its measure of success will be the freedom and decision-making capacity that Venezuela recovers.
